Nicolás Restrepo Correa

Lawyer

Nicolás Restrepo is a lawyer from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and a specialist in Administrative Law from Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana. He has taken courses in Urban Real Estate Appraisal, Commercial Law and Conciliation, as well as training in pedagogy for non-licensed professionals and in the State's Single Information System for Management and Litigation E-Kogui.

He is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Private Law at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.

He worked as a public servant in the Government of Antioquia in matters related to administrative labor law, preparation of legal concepts, projection of responses to petitions, preparation of certificates of employment and pension bonuses, has also served as a litigation lawyer, serving as an advisor and litigant in civil, labor, administrative and commercial law, analysis of evidence and feasibility of processes, presentation of work proposals, legal concepts, legal representation in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings. Likewise, he worked as a contractor lawyer of the Colombian Pension Administrator - Colpensiones, whose functions were the supervision, management, judicial and pre-judicial defense on behalf of Colpensiones in approximately 230 processes, preparation of conciliation forms, projection of claims, answers, preparation of conciliation requests, memorials, attendance to hearings of sole, first and second instance, arguments of first and second instance, interposition and support of appeals and / or cassation, preparation of reports.

As an academic he worked as a teacher in the area of private and procedural law at the Tecnológico de Antioquia, in the subjects of Legal Act, General Theory of Process, Sanitary Legislation, Civil Procedure, General Theory of Evidence, Obligations, Probative Law, Civil and Commercial Contracts, Civil Law of Persons, he has also served as Advisor of the Legal Office Sofía Medina de López of the same educational institution, whose main function was to provide advice to students of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, on issues related to civil law and commercial law; review of powers of attorney, petitions, memorials, conciliations, lawsuits, responses and appeals projected by the students.

Currently he is the Director of the Litigation and Labor Law area, providing advice to individuals and legal entities in areas of labor, civil, administrative, tax and commercial law, preparation of legal concepts for public and private entities, coordination and management of projects, study of processes, review and drafting of contracts, advancement of procedures before public and private entities, preparation of guardianships, petition rights, conciliation requests, memorials, lawsuits, first and second instance pleadings, interposition and support of appeals; management and legal defense of family, civil, commercial, labor, administrative and tax proceedings, attendance to conciliation hearings before the Ministry of Labor, Superintendencies, Chambers of Commerce, Police Inspections, Public Prosecutor's Office, Conciliation Centers, Judicial Attorney's Office, Family, Civil, Labor, Administrative and Judicial Courts.
